Using Organic and Fairtrade certified sugar cane grown in Paraguay. Distilled in a column still in Otisa, Paraguay. Blend of rum aged from 2 to 5 years in Canadian rye whisky barrels. Then bottled by FAIR. Drinks in Cognac, France.
The nose provides a lovely note of caramel and banana. Very soft on the palette with powerful tropical fruits flavours such as pineapple, guava and passionfruit. The ageing in rye barrels brings a delicate note of soft spice such as white pepper for a lasting finish.
