Over 14 different rums aged between three to five years are blended together to make Bacardi Oro Rum. It is a premium, golden rum, offering a more prominent flavour profile to Bacardi Superior Rum. The extended ageing process allows the infusion of subtle nut, wood and dried fruit flavours into the rum from the charred wood barrels. After ageing, the rums are carefully blended to achieve Bacardi Oro Rum's characteristic smoothness. Bacardi Oro Rum is amber in colour and mellow in taste with impressions of vanilla and a balance of walnuts, spices and tropical fruits on a subtle background of oak. Its finish is mellow, smooth and perfectly balanced. To fully appreciate Bacardi Oro Rum's richer taste, it is best enjoyed over a generous serving of ice, with ginger ale and a wedge of fresh lime.
